Privacy policy
Effective 3 November 2026. Package com.zy.lockspace.
XLockSpace is an Android app lock. You choose which apps to lock. Opening a locked app asks for a 6-digit PIN. You can hide selected apps from the home screen by setting XLockSpace as the default Home.
Data that stays on your phone
- Your PIN is stored only as a one-way hash. We cannot read or reset it. Clearing app data is the recovery path and also deletes the lock and hide lists.
- Lock and hide lists, language, disguise title/text/icon, and lock settings stay in app storage on the device.
- Cloud backup is off. The app does not create an account.
- Usage access is used only to see which app came to the foreground so the lock screen can appear. That information is not sent off the device.
- The optional notification listener dismisses notifications from hidden apps by package name. Notification content is not read or stored.
- A photo you pick as a custom entry icon stays in the app’s private files.
Permissions
- Usage access — detect app launches for the lock.
- Display over other apps — cover a locked app immediately.
- Battery whitelist — reduce the chance the system kills the lock.
- Notifications — optional Quick Settings tile copy and optional dismissal of hidden-app notifications.
- Biometric — optional fingerprint or face unlock, wrapped in the Android Keystore on this device.
What we do not do
- No ads, no analytics SDK, no account, no cloud sync of your PIN or app lists.
- The app cannot hide packages from Settings → Apps, Google Play, or package managers.
Children
XLockSpace is not directed at children.
